I would be EXTREMELY wary of that calculator. It is inaccurate and inadequate and following precisely what it indicates will lead a lot of people into cashback rejection. I have added a post (number 20) on http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=558661 to explain a bit more on that.
  • If I ignore the pricematch terms and used the dates given by the cashback calculator, which gave a claim window from 25/11/2007 to 25/12/2007 (for a order made on 25/5/2007). My question is which bill should I send, is it the bill 3/10/2007 bill or 3/11/2007 bill?

  • You can't use any bill which will arrive as more than 28 days older than its date. Therefore you'd probably have to send the December bill!

Why not send both, and a copy of the printout you have, as this may curtail future correspondence (if they pay up, great, if they don't you can go straight to a LBA).
  • OK, I am planning to send both the November and December bills to be save. However, if I send the original bills and they don't pay up. How can I proceed when I have no more originals?

Well send copies (unless they will only accept originals!) - But note MJ's post on whether the bills you suggest will be valid at all.

If they only accept originals, then use special delivery with consequential loss insurance.

If you need to take proceedings in future, then the copies will suffice if needed.
  • Just a quickie, do I need to send page 2 of my bills? (Page 2 is for itemised report where your calls are being itemised)

I am planning to send both of Nov and Dec bills to a specified claim window of 25/11/07 till 25/12/07. I am also attaching a cover letter and a copy of the cashback calculator printout.

On the claim form, under Transaction number, what should I fill? Is the Order ID or transaction number on the sales invoice?
