OSPS cashback calculator error

I have purchased an LG Chocolate Price Match from OSPS on 25/5/07 and foolishly used their website's cashback calculator which states 4 claims at month 6, 8, 10 and 12. The first one to be claimed between 25/11/07 and 25/12/07. I then left it at that.
Now that it's near the claim dates, I begin to collect the paperwork required for the cashback claims and found that the invoice states a different claim dates of month 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12. The first one to be claimed after 4 months.
As the 120 days period has already passed, what can I do now? Do I have a case that I have been misled by their website's cashback calculator? I still have a printout of their website's cashback calculator showing all the claiming periods.

Can anyone suggest a solution?
Should I ring OSPS up to explain that I have been misled by the cashback calculator on its website?
Or should I just wait till the date as suggested on the cashback calculator and claim as usual, attaching the cashback calculator printout?
Please advice....Mark Hughes' blue and white army0 -
Are you SURE you're on a so-called "price-match deal"? Looks like it, but if not the old t&c at that time were 4 claims starting in month 6 and the dates on your account would have been correct. However, you cannot take much notice of anything they say or put on your account EXCEPT to USE that (provided you printed it all off at the time as EVERYONE should ALWAYS do WHATEVER THE DEAL OR DEALER) should you decide to sue. That MIGHT work if you can prove you were mislead, but if not and this IS a cashback-deal you've lost the lot. HOWEVER there IS one more possibilty. WHAT IS YOUR BILL DATE????? IF the first bill dated after 120 days of connection is NOT more than 30 days old AND you can get THAT to them before it is you have them by the short and curlies. They are ignoring the price-match t&c and the legal ones means this would be a valid claim. Should they reject it then you could easily sue and recover ALL the cashback in one go.0

Thanks mobilejunkie,
Unfortunately, the first bill dated after 120 days of connection is already more than 30 days old.
When I bought the phone, I did print the cashback calculator that showed that I should claim in month 6. With that printed sheet on hand, is my case stronger? It's clear that I have been misled by the erroneous OSPS's own cashback calculator!!!
How should I proceed, contact them now to explain or claim as usual on month 6?Mark Hughes' blue and white army0 -
Was the cashback calculator you printed valid for price match deals (5 claims) - I have a copy of one, but it is for 4 claim cashbacks (not pricematch deals)?0

The printout states the following:
Cashback Details for Order ID : XXXXXX
Package : LG Chocolate Price Match
200 (12 months)
12 months Free Line Rental
Claim Period Status Status
Month 6 Claim Between:
>> Sun 25 Nov 2007
>> Tue 25 Dec 2007
....
etc.
The printout was dated 25/05/2007, the day I ordered the phone.Mark Hughes' blue and white army0 -
You have a strong case.
Write a letter to them first, enclosing a copy of that printout, asking for them to please honour it.
If this fails to get the required response, then move on to a LBA and MCOL.0 -

Should I wait till 25 Nov 2007, the date of the first claim and then ask them to honour it? I have passed the 4 month dealine but I am still not in the month 6 window. You have a strong case.
If this fails to get the required response, then move on to a LBA and MCOL.
What's LBA and MCOL?
Thank you.Mark Hughes' blue and white army0 -
You may as well claim in line with it, and never refer to the 4 month claim! (Await their response to the claim before you send any correspondence).
Letter Before Action & Moneyclaimonline.
Lots on these in the mobile outlet thread (and coolnewmobile)0 -
