Bumped off flight

Quick and hopefully easy question for you.....
My flight from Glasgow to Las Vegas was cancelled and I was offered €600 to fly out the following day from Manchester.
Is this €600 only for being bumped and am I also entitled to claim in the usual way for delayed compensation?
Other passengers who flew from Glasgow the following day are entitled to €600 compensation for the cancelled flight which makes me wonder if I am too, otherwise there was no benefit in travelling from Manchester and giving up my seat.
Thanks

What flight were bumped from? Were you rebooked from Glasgow the next day and then asked to fly from Manchester? Technically you were not bumped from the flight that got cancelled.0

The original flight was cancelled and I believe a new flight was arranged for the following day from Glasgow but on a smaller plane.
A small number of people were asked to be removed from the Glasgow flight due to insufficient seats.

Sounds like you voluntarily off-loaded yourself from the cancelled flight, which generally would mean that no further compensation would be payable. But I agree that this would be odd: why else would you agree to the inconvenience of leaving from another airport. I would make the claim regardless and see what they say.0

I would have thought that the following scenario exists.
Original flight cancelled, unless due to an EC, 261/2004 compensation due.
Replacement flight then effectively denied boarding/volunteers sought with E600 bribe to change airport. This is separte from the original day cancellation. If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide

The OP wasn't denied boarding, he was (voluntarily) rerouted from a different airport. That's how I read it anyway.0

Was OP "voluntarily"re-routed? From original post, OP didn't seem aware or was not made aware of the flight the next day from Glasgow rather than trekking to Manchester. Which is what the OP is asking re. compensation.

Apologies, my original post was not very clear.
Original flight Glas-Vegas cancelled
New flight scheduled Glas-Vegas for the following day
Rescheduled Glasgow flight, of which I was aware of, was over booked and I agreed to be bumped from this flight and travel to Manchester for an alternative flight (600 Euro agreed)
The scenario by JPears above is accurate.

Was the second flight a normal scheduled flight, or a unique replacement for your cancelled/rescheduled flight? If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide

Very little info provided by airline but as there is is only one scheduled Glasgow flight to Vegas per week, I would presume it was a unique replacement put on the next day from Glasgow.
The flight from Manchester the next day was a routine, scheduled flight.0 -
Seems to me that the airline has tricked you by dangling a 600 Euro carrot to tempt you into volunteering to travel to MAN for your flight.
They likely wouldn't have got anyone to volunteer if they had told you, up front, that everyone could receive 600 Euro's, whether they offered to fly from MAN or not.
A bit of craft wording, and not for the first time. Please read Vaubans superb guide. To find it Google and then download 'vaubans guide'.0
