I don't believe UKPC used their STS service as they have all been windscreen 'PCN' and not through the post.

The commission bod gets an app to send pics to UKPC
and they can certainly attach PCN's to cars.

The giveaway is that PPC's do not put A4 paper warning
    you ..... they just ticket

    Oh I see!

Still currently looking through the forum for defences. As this is my first time, this is quite tough.

UKPC SCS defence or UKPC residential SCS defence as your keywords will find LOADS.

Change the search to SHOW POSTS never, ever leave it at the default 'threads'.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I've been searching through posts using the search function for a while and have failed to come up with any suitable drafts of which to base the defence. I'm not sure what points would be valid and relatable to that of the case here other than:

    -Unclear signage
-Only one sign with £90 (not £100?)

I'm not sure what else to put.

Edit: I haven't got a PoC to rely on either.

    You haven't got a PoC?

No Particulars of Claim on the Claim Form?

    Hello Keith.

Negative. Under the PoC section it states:

The Claimant claims from the Defendant the sum of £1120 in respect of unpaid parking notices issued as a result of the Defendant's breach of terms and conditions of parking at a site managed by the Claimant.
I will provide the defendant with separate detailed particulars within 14 days after service of the claim form.

Did you do what I said and change the default search to show POSTS? You will be there forever if you search for threads and have to trawl through them!
I will provide the defendant with separate detailed particulars within 14 days after service of the claim form.

OK, are you past that yet?

    Done.

I did do what you said and I've been reading through many defences but none seem to relate to my case (no permit etc) unless I'm completely missing something. I feel pretty clueless at the moment!

A haven't received their separate Particulars yet. I imagine it'll just be about parking without clearly displaying a residents' permit.
