roaming with your UK mobile in Spain and calling a Spanish number (or a number in any other European country) will be treated the same as making a call to a UK number when in the UK, so included your allowance if on contract, or at normal PAYG rates
That seems generous of the mobile companies, as doesn't the call go from Spain to the UK and then back to Spain?0 -

It isn't the mobile companies being generous, it is the law on roaming that was made by the EU and the mobile companies have no option but to allow people to call any EU or EEA country while they are roaming.0
