Tips to save money to pay debt off quicker

Hi all.

Thanks for resurrecting the thread balabooberlies, I'd forgotten all about it. I'd love to catch up on what you are all doing. How's the nasty neighbour Pixie?

I'll just let you know that I finally moved out of my house on Oct 18th. It was my 13th moving date! The couple in the bungalow I was buying were dragging their feet so I put all my stuff into storage until they finally moved out. When I discovered what a dreadful state they'd left the place in I couldn't believe it. The filth and the smell were indescribable. Anyway, there was no way I could move in so I'm camping out in a friend's back bedroom. Another friend has a useful builder as a husband and he is overseeing all the work that has to be done.
Everything they start to do reveals a fresh horror, so I've ended up with having to renew everything, including the rotten joists under the bath, the boiler, all the electrics, kitchen, bathroom, you name it!

It will be lovely when it's all done and I will probably be singing in the streets to pay for it, but the men doing the work have been fantastic.

Anyway, let's hear what you've all been doing and how you are getting along.

So sorry for all your troubles. Comfort yourself that when it's all done,........it's all done.

Wish there was something more uplifting that I could say.

I love the advice you gave (will be queuing up for mine soon) and the incredible kindness that shone through. You must have been a great teacher..... and clearly that gift has not left you.
