Lastpass looks like it will sync across devices (from the webpage). Can someone confirm please?

Can confirm. Currently using it on a PC running Windows 10, a Macbook Pro, Samsung Galaxy S7 and Nexus 10 tablet.

It is free on Mobile....I use it on mine.
It works well on Firefox and I have no problem with it logging in to eBay.
Never found it to be slow. It instantly populates the correct fields.
I've never had it log out on me, unless told to do so.
It's up and working on FF 60+.
List view in the vault is fine for my viewing.
I use it on FF and Opera and my Mobile, all from the free version.
Sounds like you have an axe to grind with them from having a bad experience that's maybe not suffered by others.

I can assure you I have no axe to grind, I used to be evangelistic about this app till is screwed my data.

As I explained I can't move to FF60 because I have other add-ons that are important to me, it is called a planned migration.

My problems with Lastpass started years ago, their forums were useless, staff users very condescending and tell you to wait wait wait.

I guess you have different expectation from list view, the thing is I manage over 3000 passwords, so maybe that is the issue, it does not scale. Maybe you use the interface on a tablet but on my laptop it is dire, massive white space and then things do not fit so buried under things like >Advanced Settings which as I said scrolls you all the way back up and then you have to scroll all the way down again. Yet there is space for Advanced Settings next to Save and Cancel buttons on Edit Screen, is just really poor UI design, V2 and V3 was Perfect

It logs on automatically if you have it set to autologin and it populates when not set to not do so, it is very slow at doing so when it is set. Again probably because it does not scale up.

I have two ebay accounts, maybe that is the problem, they are both set to not autofill as I prefer to choose the account, when I choose the account it does not enter the username or the password, I have to go 4 menu options in and copy username and then go 4 levels in and copy password.

If it works on mobile then that must be new, I remember being in hospital and urgently needing to access my vault via safari and it would not let me, it insisted I buy the app.

Maybe they have fixed bugs in V60 or maybe you just have a handful of entries but I have trusted them and upgraded in the past only to find issues remained and I could not roll back.

Based on what you have said I might try it on another laptop with V60 but I will not be able to use V60 until the FF apps work as I explained.

Saving passwords in browsers is not secure.

Because there are scripts on Dark Web that can suck them right out.

Ok, so no axe to grind, but a bad experience that doesn't seem to be universal.
Good luck with whatever you use, but, I think I'll stick with LastPass.:)

For ages I've used Password safe, it's never let me down and is very easy to use. It was originally developed by Bruce Schneier who is a bit of a crypto guru, so it has good security credentials.

I sync across various devices by keeping the DB file in dropbox.
There's android and iPhone apps and a linux version if you need them.

I'm not saying you don't have issues, but, they are not universal issues. Your install seems to be complete !!!! or there is an issue with your browser or whatever, it's an issue on your machine.
The fact is that I don't have any one of those issues you are suffering from. Nor does anyone else I know who uses it.
Yes, it would annoy the hell out of me if I did have them, however, I would try to determine why it was happening to me and not to others.
As you say though, you aren't using it now, so, the point is mute anyway....
