Hi all
I know this has been asked before, but I'm after a password manager I can install on my machine and on my mobile (it's an Android phone).
I have about 40 different passwords for various sites (usually variations on a theme) and trying to remember them all it's getting a bit of a nightmare.
I'd prefer a free one (wouldn't we all) but would mind paying a one-off charge (rather than subscription).
Any recommendations for one that's easy to use (i.e. idiot-proof)?

Doesn't sync, but I just copy the database (usually into Box). Database structure is the same in Windows and Android. but you have to be disciplined about only updating on one device doing it my way.
I'm used to it, so it works for me.0 -
I too use Keepas and have done for years, If you use Firefox browser there is an add on called Kee that integrates with Keepass and fills in most usernames and passwords automatically.0

I use LastPass free which can be used on different devices.0

Another vote for LastPass.....It even works on my phone and it's free.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

Firefox will usually offer to save all your passwords, on PC and laptop. They are available to read and check anytime, at least on Firefox 64 bit.
Tools - Options - Privacy and Security - Saved Logins - Show Passwords.
DON'T FORGET to "Hide Passwords" before closing Options.I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.

^^^ and works on Android and across devices.....and free.
You can search for text within the options mentioned by Robisere above in case you need to find one or commonality.
There is also free software available (not from Mozilla though) so that you can export logins/passwords to a CSV file for separate secure storage in case of total failure.0 -
1Password is excellent.0
