Took all three little people to the beach by myself then to McDonald's for an ice-cream. Went inside only to discover McDonald's now have iPads inside so children not willing to leave, whoops. Long time since I've taken them to somewhere that isn't one of my safe places to handle them all. Might do it again sometime xJan 18 Joint debts 35,213

A 4th day running of hard physical labour on the garden and then some voluntary work.
Got cornered by a(nother) "narrow mind emotional thinker" trying to "convert" me to their viewpoint and managed not to "lose my rag" at their irrational thinking and stayed perfectly calm (whilst explaining how I disagree with them and why). Go me...:) They even admitted I'm accurate on my observations on a couple of points. Definitely go me...0 -
I am packed for holibobs, all except toothbrush, hairbrush and items for cool box (all packed in boxes just need to add to cool bag with ice packs. Very organised for me as I am usually running about after we should have left packing random items of clothing into bags. We go tommorow and are almost ready just to go!! More organised than I have ever been!Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0

I managed to start an IV in a 457 pound patient, first try!
And I managed to leave his area without doing a happy dance.0 -
I cleared the smallest garden bed, and planted the plants in pots I've been meaning to move for months. Reorganised the paved bit outside the door and made a lovely shady spot to sit in. Worked slowly, and it took ages but I'm so happy to be creating a small green sanctuary again
it's a very small garden, and has got neglected because of needing to sort out the allotment, house renovations and illness. I felt very proud of myself yesterday, and now I'm going to rake my cup of tea and sit there and enjoy it.

I think she is the lead singer with M People who released an album called Proud.
Title track includes the line "what have you done today to make you feel proud?"
She has a rich deep voice, worth a look on Ytube.

Today I have done a five hour round trip to visit my DGD, had a lovely time and managed not to succumb to road rage when I was stuck behind someone doing 25mph in a 40 limit for the last 5 miles on the way home, except when he slowed down to 10 mph at every bend in the road and cattle grid! I hardly even swore, honest !!!
Lots of pride worthy stuff going on - kudos to all!0
