Laptop Confusion

It has them but it probably won't have the software you want to use on it. If you use your laptop for doing things like updating your Satnav a Chromebook is no good for that. If you plug anything other than printers and memory sticks into a USB port on your computer then a Chromebook isn't likely to be something you want to get.

I basically use my laptop for:
Browsing the web
Watching you tube and catch up
Sending emails
Typing documents
Online banking etc

A Chromebook can do all these

Chromebooks are great unless you want to store stuff or install applications. They don't have a hard disk.

They have an SSD like some new laptops now

internal memory easily expanded with a memory card/stick

No you cant install Windows Applications but the OP doesn't want that

I can still use the online office 365 on the browser though ?

Just I edit, staff and create a lot of word and excel documents ?

Haven't used 365 myself. I just use Google Docs which is sufficent for my needs
