Hey everyone
I’m not the most technical minded here.
I basically use my laptop for:
Browsing the web
Watching you tube and catch up
Sending emails
Typing documents
Online banking etc
Any recommendations?

Dell Outlet
has a (Scratch & Dent) Inspiron 15 - 5570 for £225.72 inclusive.

They are fairly new machines, so I don't anticipate there being any noticeable scratches nor dents.
If you are concerned, you can go for the Certified Refurbished for £243.01 inclusive. Will certainly be 'as new' with a saving of £107 over the current price at PC World.0 -
Here are some new machine you may want to consider.
I pick it purely based on spec, not brand.

All have SSD which is great, but only one has a Full HD screen and perhaps just one has a DVD drive.
Maybe these things aren't important to the OP, but pointing them out in case they are.0 -
Much appreciated guys, I thank you all for the time and effort you have spent on this for me. I!!!8217;ll take a look at them this afternoon. Cheers.0

you dont even need a Windows laptop
A good chromebook/laptop will suffice0 -
I!!!8217;d definitely go for a chromebook. We actually prefer it to our thousand quid MacBook Air and use it for pretty much everything now. We went for a touchscreen dell 3380. I also have a hp pro book for work and windows just seems so slow in comparison0

same here.
After using Windows for years a Chromebook laptop is a joy.0 -
