Your DH did well AH, can just picture him now complaining :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Seems like it is strange weather all over Europe at the moment. Most places are usually red hot at this time of year but seems to be a lot of rain etc. I just hope it means we will have at least a couple of decent months of sun at some time this year.Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

adoreholidays wrote: »It was raining there too ok on the day we arrived but really windy then Tuesday rained from 11am onwards we were lucky as dodged most of the heavier showers in between the chocco museam and the bars:D:rotfl:.
Actually DH had a red mist moment on the Tuesday . Friend and I went to the chocco museam didn't really know what we were purchasing but saw 2 ticket price options 7euros for the museam 11 for museam and tasting so thought that was part of the museam where you got to sample:o only when we paid they gave us a booklet it was a chocolate walk where you had 2 vouchers to use at participating shops. Had to ask twice for them to explain the dots and how to use the vouchers. So decided on where we wanted to use the vouchers one for 2 drinking chocolates and the other for 3 pralines, both near to each other. So procedded to walk to the areas the first one went to use the voucher as we entered they were about to offer some chocolate on a plate when we mentioned we had a voucher they removed the plate before we had chance to sample grudgingly put 3 chocolates in a bag not what was expecting and passed them over no words exchanged:o. Went to find the 2nd wasn't where it was supposed to be but there was another chocletier with a different name so decided to ask was that the shop:eek::eek::eek: the woman was so rude she just shouted at us "You come into a chocolate shop to ask for another chocolate shop how rude" we tried explaining we were not trying to be rude we just werent sure if the shop had changed names she said that shop is closed procedded to accuse us of just looking for free chocolate, she wouldn't listen to us saying we have paid for a ticket so not free chocolate and we had already spent over 50 euros at the museam and several other chocolate items in other shops on the way. My friend was really upset and walked away. We decided to make a complaint at the tourist place as felt the treatment was unnecessary. But it got worse we decide to use up the remaining voucher we sent DH on route to another of the shops on the list as we were leaving in the morning but we were exhausted from the walking around so we went back to rest at hotel.:eek::eek: oh dear the other shop was also closed and hadn't been open all day as he asked a proprieter next door. So he asked for directions back to the chocolate museam oh my God did he let rip at them selling a ticket that was absoloutly useless as most of the establishments were closed and how upset we were at the treatment of a particular shop owner think they wanted to get rid of him as was becoming quite embarrising as he also got completely soaked on route. Outcome he got to choose 4 bags of chocolates at 6 euros each and a full refund of the 22 euros technically they only neede to refund the extra paid for the walk so were happy with that. They said they pay the proprietors to take part in the offer.
Sorry turned into an essay once I started typing:eek::eek::eek:
Hope all the messing around you had didn't spoil your holiday break hun. Its incredibly rude of that woman to shout at you for just asking directions. Ignorant c0w.
Did you enjoy the choccies after all that:rotfl:

:eek::eek::eek: That is not good for you/DS. I would be happy with it as don't usually get much but paying for your groceries would not be good as you haven't paid for them since apg/wombling started have you

Just popping on to say hello and see a bit of a reunion going on:T:j:T
Been busy with RL since we got back from Malta - can't believe we came back two weeks ago. Seems like it was ages ago that we were actually somewhere that was getting some sun - if anyone can remember what that looks like:(
Had central heating on virtually all the time since returning home - we usually turn it off and don't need it back on until September/October ish. Not just the heating needed either - got the sweaters and thermals out of moth balls its so flippin cold and when I went out shopping earlier I even wore my ski jacket:eek::eek::eek::eek:. Quite unbelievable:mad:
You don't expect to get trouted on holiday AH.:( Obv been trained at Tosco customer services :rotfl:
Hope the kitchen is going well SnD
PM - hope you are over the lurgy
CM - your cakes always look beautiful so hope the book gives you some good ideas and looking forward to seeing the results :T
Off to catch up :T0 -
Morning all. Quick catch up time again. Nice to see some "old" faces posting again.
AH - how is your DS? Did you bring him home?
PM - hope you are now starting to feel better.
Just off outside to do some weeding as can't help hubby at the moment with anything. He is busy with plumbing and think I am better off out of the way until time for coffee!0 -
Yipppeeee I think my son has fixed the leak around the lounge window.
We had it replastered as the original plaster had been a bit loose and we realised we had a damp patch. My ds has been plastering little holes in brickwork etc for few days now and nothing worked. He has just been spraying with the hosepipe and its stayed dry inside. (It was soaking inside the other day when he did the same thing). So hopefully its been fixed.
Hope your all having a lovely weekend, its been sunny for a change here.

Hope you manage to stick to your budget

I know, it's getting scary - although in my case I actually need to get my bum to the supermarket to do some 'shopping' just haven't had time of late so been doing smaller top up shops. Bit worried as I'm down to my last 15 jars of Sacla sauce :rotfl:CouponWoman wrote: »
