    Morning all

    Wet and grotty here too

Had a really early night last night ended the day in tears almost had been waiting wondering all day if OH would get me pressie for when he got home but was no pressie :( don't know if he didn't have time or couldn't be bothered didn't even get anything for the kids to give me or a card from them. Still feeling a little sorry for myself today but going to put it behind me and just get on with keeping busy.

    CM

:( Big hugs CM, that's really rotten of your OH - I mean, mine doesn't like making a big fuss about b'days / xmas etc etc and the only time we do cards is b'days, but even I get a s*dding 'happy birthday' and the odd enquiry into what I would like as a gift (although I am still waiting for the Chanel handbag and Dior dress :rotfl:) Working hard is no excuse, he's had all year to think about it  sorry...rant over. xxx

Loving the afternoon tea pics posted in honour of CM's birthday:j yum yum

Sorry didn't get back on drivel that night CM, we ended up staying in London waiting for DS1 to finish at his book signing which wasn't until 6pm as we would maybe have just got home then had to come back out to collect him. He has been tweeting the author and think he said she was at the Sci fi weekend thing he went to. So when she asked who to make it out to he was excitied that when he said his first name she said your not ..... she remembered him and invited him to stay afterwards for drinks but he unfortunately had to decline as he was working at 3am :(

oh AH, I got my cinema ticket this week, unfortunately it is for waterford :(

:mad::mad::mad: how infuriating Doc managed to get hers ok someone with sense obviously dealt with her application as it quite clearly stated which cinema and where you live so even if the number was wrong they could have worked it out.

Might be worth trying to contact them via email to see if anything can be sorted I will try and look for thread see if a contact on there

This was the thread I had read at the time when doing the application originally, maybe worth emailing as the original list was when the offer was first published but then they removed 2 cinemas from the list which then changed the numbers
