He is going to fight his ticket as well. I forgot what his explanation/reason for it was cos I was too busy trying not to laugh to listen to him. I know I shouldn't laugh but a couple of months ago when I thought I had got a ticket he gave me a big lecture about my driving too fast.:cool:
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: you very naughty:D:p can picture you now laughing0 -
Morning all
Well we have had a load more snow over night everything buried again but school have decided to open today but not until 10.30 I can see that annoying the working parents. No idea how I'm going to get baby there tho as paths easily 8 inch deep and you just can't get a pushchair thru itnot much choice tho as he won't walk and not safe to carry him (I would worry what would happen if I fell ). Best idea me and kids have at the mo is to tie some string to my laundry wash basket and drag bubsy down the street sledge style lol could get some funny looks
Right time to get packing up done
Back soon
CM

Forgot to say good afternoon everyone!
I got up at 05:00 this morning and cleared drive, dug a couple of channels down our hill and got to work early. We'd had about 3inch by then but it hasn't stopped.
They've closed DD1 and DD2 school but FD's is open so OH walked her there this morning. It was nearly up to top of her wellies in parts .
Still snowing in Sheffield.
Take care everyone. If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -

:D:D don't mind taking praise jeferey but this one is all down to IS me just responding to her post.:)
But may be tapping you for advice on Amex as had looked into getting one months back as we collect Avios miles and were looking at what and when would be best deal/offer to go with but ended up confusing myself(not hard) am aware there was one which gave a good upgrade deal/companion etc with Avios. With all these extra deals recently making me wish I had continued  now completly forgotten any details but got to sort Home Insurance first as that is due to expire in a few days time:eek: and DH would happily just renew with old company without comparing:eek:.

I am still playing catch up from my Birthday week and have just seen this. You kept quiet about going to the GFS Genmod:p:p How many of the books did you manage to get? Don't forget the half price ticket offer for the summer GFS ends on the 31st Jan. I cannot remember my record for books, think it was a few hundred, so will be trying to beat that this year:D
Didn't mean to keep quiet :rotfl:, it was a last minute trip as the friend I was going with couldn't make it so I went on my own in the end. Really enjoyed it (have never been before), but not sure whether to go to the summer one. Anyway, I only got about 30 books because the coupons in there were for products that I was not really interested in!
Hope your wrist is not giving you too many problems and it's better soon.
CM - Did you manage to get too school OK?
Off out now to clear the snow once again, see you all later!0 -
Had an expensive few days so need to try & give the CC a rest:eek:.
Shower been playing up similar prob to last year switch it on temp won't regulate burning hot won't switch off where it should so have to pull cord outside shower then won't come on pull card again then on third pull it comes on. then other times it works fine. So now cost us £260 I think for someone from Aqualise to come out service it and fit new parts but will get a 2 year quarantee with it. So they coming end of month not sure how old it is but was here when we purchased house coming up for 7 years now in Feb but have had to get few parts for it recently.
Went in to London yesterday to do the Merlin Annual passes in Jan Sale so got the Premium as gives you free parking and entrance to London venues in Summer Hols etc and as we live near London may be of benefit. We could do the family rate as had 3 of us but cost £270 and could start them from March as won't use until atleast then :j Will be a good deal if use several times. But £530 on 2 purchases on CC and still got Home Insurance to add to that:eek::eek::eek:0 -
Just had email the Norfolk Hamper company ceased trading and is insolvent:mad::mad::mad:. Thank God got my money back to CC last week but alot of others have not and some were giving him the benefit of doubt and will now have nothing. Such a con man promising people things knowing it was not going to happen even issuing cheques that are most probably now going to bounce:mad::mad::mad:.0
