  • TS glad you managed to get out for a bit yesterday:T not sure if you ended up mtg your friends hope you did. for the post also about M&S, wished they were nearer me would definatly give this a try but a bit far in these conditions :( unless it stays working for a while.:D

Aesop hope you enjoyed your day in London Sunday and meet up:j.

BP hope everything OK feel you been very quiet of late on here and other threads:(.

Which also reminds me has anyone heard from FV :(I know she deleted her accounts but if someone has contact for her by other means:A.

Doc well done you on having day at home:j:T esp after what been going on

Yes thank you AH I did get out yesterday - so glad given the extra dollop of white stuff we have had dumped on us:rotfl::rotfl:
which would make it too tricky to attempt atm.

I didn't get to see the friends for coffee that I hoped to but did bump into another one which was good as I have not seen her to talk to for a while.

Its a shame you're not nearer to M & S - the meal deals work out very good value. Might have to get a few more if the weather lets up a bit:cool:
  • Just had email the Norfolk Hamper company ceased trading and is insolvent:mad::mad::mad:. Thank God got my money back to CC last week but alot of others have not and some were giving him the benefit of doubt and will now have nothing. Such a con man promising people things knowing it was not going to happen even issuing cheques that are most probably now going to bounce:mad::mad::mad:.

The hamper thing must have been a complete nightmare - you must be so relieved to be getting your money back. Are the people who set these schemes up not subject to some sort of checks? If not they should be. Bet the man concerned is sitting in some mansion somewhere nice and warm completely ignoring the damage and worry caused to the people who were conned:mad::mad::mad:

Wish I had known you were going to be in London yesterday too, could have met to say a quick hello, AH.

I did get into Town and meet the other MSERs. We had a lovely day and DS was spoilt with a late xmas pressie, which he has wanted since he last saw it 3 years ago. This pressie means a lot though, as who it has been gifted by. So he better not break it! Although I will keep it even if he does, as it means a lot to me, because of the persons who gifted it.

We met at the 02 and then went to have a skulk around Harrods, can you believe it they had underwear at less than £9.95! I didn't buy any though...:rotfl:

Bit of a nightmare getting home due to planned works and diversions, but we did, and had supper of sausage and chips.

It was lovely though meeting up with the MSERs.

I haven't forgotten about our meetup, will think about it soon.

AM probably going to lose this job in the next few weeks, so am job hunting now so I can take redundancy and have something else to go to.

AH, you and I need to have words about this hammering of your cc.

Oh dear Aesop I'm so sorry to hear about your job. Hope its not too long before you find something suitable. With your skills and knowledge maybe Martin needs an assistant?:)

    Afternoon all

Managed to get to school and back both times dug out the big travel system pushchair and basically pushed it on the road most o the way instead of the paths (with the odd scowl from motorist grumpy s0ds).

Hope no one here caught up in the hamper fiasco tbh I'm from Norfolk and I have never even heard of the company anyone needs me to send the kids round to rough the guy up lol let me know.

Really strange taking kids in at 10.30 today not sure what will happen tomorrow but felt like a really short day.

MT I have some ariel gel £1 and bold liqitab £1 mocs for mr T due to run out 1st feb any use ?

Time to have a dig in the freezer see what we're having for tea and see if the mousies that have been eating my garden chairs have been caught
