PM - I know its too soon at the moment to even think about it but you have given your birds a wonderful home, and given time you may wish to do so again to some other creatures. The animal/welfare homes are full to bursting with some species and although I am not obviously sure of your areas situation, perhaps, if and when you feel up to it, you could maybe make some enquiries. Having been involved with my local RSPCA & other charities, I can assure you your local branches would be happy to hear from you.
Please give it some thought when you are able to.
In the meantime please take care x0 -

I had a terrible night. I started being violently sick with a banging headache and after reading a comment in a thread I started which is in the pet forum we were worried about carbon monoxide poisioning. Ended up calling an ambulance, fire engine came and national grid. No heati g and hot water now. Waiting for my boiler to be checked.
I woke up thinking it was time to wake my birds up
so quiet without them.
Now got to wait and see if we can find out what happened
Big hugs PM - it's terrible losing any kind of pet. any more news on the boiler - terribly scary if it is / was carbon monoxide. Take care hun xxFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
