    Morning all

I had a terrible night. I started being violently sick with a banging headache and after reading a comment in a thread I started which is in the pet forum we were worried about carbon monoxide poisioning. Ended up calling an ambulance, fire engine came and national grid. No heati g and hot water now. Waiting for my boiler to be checked.

I woke up thinking it was time to wake my birds up :( so quiet without them.

Now got to wait and see if we can find out what happened :(

OMG - do you think it was the carbon monoxide? If so the fire service can give your house a checkover and give you a monitor. There have been cases over recent years where people have unfortunately died because they were not aware of it and it is so dangerous. It happened with us once on a routine boiler check and British Gas condemned our boiler. It was horrible being without especially as I had just come out of hospital but the consequences could have been so much worse. Hope you get sorted out quickly PM - please let us know.

    or this one

Blue will catch her death (or something lol) going out dressed like that:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
  • Blue have you had a email from hotel group yet about offering us a rm for £149:eek: or cancelling free as it was a glitch you don't say:D;). I haven't had an email yet. Wonder what would happen if we refuse to cancel:D:rotfl:.

I haven't checked my CC but when I bkd with Booking.com previously the money was paid on arrival at hotel so as no money may have been paid is it a binding contract even thou got a confirmation email.

Neither of us will have the bathrobes and slippers:D:p:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I saw the Tune hotels deal a few months ago (£5 per room per night and I thought it was some kind of scam) but was eventually lucky enough to book one - its the one we are going to Edinburgh with at the end of the month but its got to be the worst site I have ever tried to negotiate. I was really tearing my hair out by the time I eventually got it booked - just hope its all worth the effort :)

PM glad you are still with us. Well done on posting about your birds although it wasn't a grabbit and should have been in pets :-) I am glad soarmeone suggested carbon dioxide poisoning and you are now getting flat checked. I know ypu have had problems with the boiler.
