  • Sorry only just saw your post, I've tried to Google the land owner but can't seem to find any information on them is their a website with all current land owners on that I can search through? I'll email their head office to see if they have any details too.

    No.

You just Google the name of the retail park and hey presto, you should find lots of results including (usually) local newspaper articles and/or retail unit adverts/leaflets with the owner's/agents' contact details on...

  • Thankyou I managed to find the agent/owner and drafted up a complaint letter please let me no if I need to elaborate on certain things

It's regarding a parking ticket I received on the 5.5.18 whilst at ravenside retail park, the driver visited the stores at the chesterfield ravenside retail park all was well and purchased items from the various stores on site i then got a parking fine a month later because I over stayed my welcome The fine is for £85 I'm out raged at the fact goods were purchased (I still have receipts) but still received a fine which is an extorcianate price it is harassment with the letter and threatening action with court if sums are not paid. I'm not happy and this ordeal has made me think twice about going to that park for this reason not only that but the stress it's put me under with the letters and worry. It's a shame considering the store or items purchased from their are at no fault other than euro car parks who have issued the fine.!I have been in contact with the shops I have been in and they have said to get in contact with the land owner or agent with it being private land they can not do anything about it.
  • A bit of an update since I last posted the agents acting on behalf of the landowner got in contact with me over email after I emailed different companies trying to find out who the land owner was sent them the above draft and a copy of the receipt, they said their going to see what they can do about getting it cancelled for me so fingers crossed.

On the newbies post template where it says about expecting a response from them within 21 days what happened after the 21 days if they haven't got in touch I haven't heard anything as of yet I appealed at the start of this month.

Currently the NEWBIES template doesn't mention '21 days'.

Read again the appeal you sent.

When it did mention '21 days', that was the time given for the response to a DPA 'Section 10' notice - not the time for an appeal response.

Yes the previous NEWBIES template had a 'section 10 notice' at the end (that I have now binned) which said that response had 21 days to come back because that's true of a section 10 notice about data processing.

The appeal did NOT expect a reply to the actual APPEAL within 21 days.
