Euro car park parking fine anpr please help

On the 5.5.18 the driver went into the retail outlet in chesterfield to do some shopping etc (bought items from a few shops their but lost the receipts!) The driver failed to notice any signed that euro car park claim to have in place and didn't see any anpr system in operation signes. The date issued shown on the letter is 17.5.18 but didn't receive until about a week later. Researched most of this forum and the newbie link which was a great help I as the registered keeper sent the copy of the appeal I found on the newbie thread and added part to it about if they obtain my details illegally etc I would claim no less than £250. Apologese for not reposting what I actually put I can't get my appeal up I sent to them
If it gets rejected which is more than likely what steps do I follow to appeal to popla it's causing some stress and actually thought about just paying it to get them off my back, but it's the principle of these vultures that make me want to carry on.
Hope that made sense sorry if it didn't I'm a newbie to all of this

Edit **the driver went into the retail outlet** (it wouldn't let me edit)0

Yes t will let you edit, use a full laptop or desktop, not a phone or tablet.0

Thankyou I'll edit when I get back home0

Edit worked perfectly well on a phone when I tested it a couple of weeks back - Its in a submenu on the phone, not the forum page but a full-size device will be easier.0

This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.
Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and another company have already been named and shamed, as has Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each year). They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct
Hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned.
The problem has become so rampant that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Watch the video of the Second Reading in the HofC recently.

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind they will be out of business by Christmas.
BTW, it is NOT a fine. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Sorry yes it is not a fine I read on another thread it's an invoice for parking I'm surprised why they are still allowed to do this to people when it's only parking in a retail park. I'm just awaiting their response will post when I hear anything back from them.0

What happened when you complained to the retail park or Store Managers? ALWAYS do that well before POPLA stage is tried.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Ok I'll do that first I haven't done anything regards to popla yet I appealed to euro car parks on Monday and still waiting for their reply. How should I complain or does that not matter? Should I say something along the lines of I'm not happy with getting a ticket even though goods were purchased from this store?0

Of course that's what you say!
(Why you not followed advice in #3??)0 -
Ok I'll do it as soon as possible have I left it to late though to complain to them it's been a month but like I said above I only got the ntk letter about 9 days later.. What do you mean by #3 I've had another look at the thread but can't find a post labelled number 3 sorry if that sounds stupid.0
