Small claims

You should immediately stop using the car, return it to the dealer and claim for a full refund less a value for having had 5 months use out if - I'd suggest that depending upon the mileage done that would be around the £1000 mark.0

I am still unclear whether I should claim full amount or difference between what I paid and what a non quattro car is worth today
That depends whether you're keeping the car. You need to turn up and negotiate with them I think. If you're willing to keep the car, you'd be looking some money back off them for the lack of an advertised feature. If you're handing the car back, then you'd be looking for a full refund, minus the use that you have had.
Turn up to the place, with the letter, and tell them you've had no reply. Face to face is often so much better. You've been wronged by them, they've been wronged by <somebody else> - they should put it right with you, and THEY can chase <somebody else> for their loss.0 -
Do you want to keep the car or not?I am still unclear whether I should claim full amount or difference between what I paid and what a non quattro car is worth today
If keep, then claim the difference.
If return, then claim the full amount, and physically return the car to them.
If they do not reply and pay, then you need to take them to court for the sum you're claiming.0 -
Doesn!!!8217;t matter what you do. If you issue a small claim and get judgment, they!!!8217;ll just dissolve the company and start up a new one.0
