I rent out a spare room to a student. In our kitchen each ring on the hob has a little cap you need to remove before using. I never showed her the cap and she has damaged it. Should I withhold some of her deposit?

Sorry, I can't see your contract from here. What does it say about damage caused by your tenant/lodger?0

No it your fault for not showing her, as someone else said they are like £5 not worth itFriends are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly.0
