I can only repeat what so may have already said: thanks very much to all the people who have worked to get MSE forums back online. Your work is much appreciated, guys.Much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good. - Thomas Sowell, "Is Reality Optional?", 19930

You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -
YIPPPEEEEEEEEEEE:j SOOOOOOOOOO glad to have you all back again, and an enormous thank you to all the people who have worked so hard to get things back to normal after this devastating attack. may the people that did it ROT IN HELL:mad:
I honestly felt I had lost a friend, I have come to depend on this site for so many things, and it has helped me tremendously over the years.
Martin........maybe it would help if we made a small annual contribution? I know I would be delighted to do so............ its not that I am rolling in money! I am a pensioner...and not a very well off one either  but imagine if we all contributed say £10 a year....surely this would help a little?
Anyway, its just a thought, what do other members think?
P.S. Forgot to say its WHIZZING along faster than everWhen man sacrifices the Love of POWER for the Power of Love, there will be peace on earth.0 -
The forums are zipping along nice & fast, probably because less people are online & don't know it's back up & running.
Sshh, let's keep it quiet for a while.

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
Welcome back, thanks to the MSE team for all the hard work in getting it up and running again.
