Experian Statutory Report - Can this be right?

Well, it's taken me a week to get my Statutory Report from Experian after having to wait for a letter with a passkey and I've just downloaded the 'report' and all it contains is my name and address.
No bank account, no credit card, no accounts with anyone else (utilities etc.) just literally my name. address and entry on the electoral roll.
What the hell?

And what do Clearscore / Noddle or CallCredit / Equifax show ?
If all your bank accounts and CCs are old they may not show up and not all utilities report.0 -
I've given up with ClearScore, I've emailed my passport and marriage certificate to them twice now and they say they can't read it.
Noddle (which I've had for about five years) has all my information on and is correct. The reason I'm trying to get it from the others is that I had a missed phone call from a debt collector on my work phone.
I got married in January this year and have changed my name on all my things except my passport and driving licence and Noddle reflects that but not Experian. I'm glad I only paid £2!
It seems they will only take contact by email, too.."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0 -

So only a couple that you might expect to appear on your files, depending on your providers.
Check with them where they report, but it's not a surprise that you might have a fairly thin file with at least one of the CRAs.0 -
There's no association shown with my previous name, either.
If I try to get credit with a company who uses Experian, it'll look like I've just landed from Venus."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0 -
... and don't talk to me about Equifax. They want me to take a scan of my passport, my marriage certificate and a recent utility bill, and send it via a web site that isn't Equifax but is some different place.
They can f right off."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0 -
Then you can't view your reports then...0

Why did you pay for the report when you could have accessed it instantly and also for free?

If you've recently changed your name, then give Experian a call as they will need to manually authorise the change of adding your old accounts and linking it to your new name.
Your bank account, credit card and mobile phone should appear on your credit files. Your utilities very rarely do, only some companies report to the CRAs.I'm a Board Guide on the Credit Cards, Loans, Credit Files & Ratings boards. Experian don't advertise a phone number. I have emailed them."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0
