I tell my better half to keep all her tickets for a minimum 3 to 6 months , regardless
any pcn on the car is a Notice To Driver, a parking charge notice, not a "ticket"
there is nothing new about this topic, its all been said before, your biggest error is not doing enough research, hence pointing you to the links0 -

Ha, always happens with CEL. Easy when you know how.
The same recently happened with a friend who sits next to me at the football - he couldn't believe how simple it was to cancel his CEL one - and he owes me a half time drink!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
