Didn't you know, it's not real life anymore if it's not connected. Probably be an update soon so you can share your refuelling on fb and twitter.
How DID we survive in the prehistoric days before Apple and Android?0 -
Nah, its awesome, park up, enter pump number, tap start fuelling. jump out, fill, jump in and go.SlovakianGuy wrote: »What is the point of this app? You still need to get out of your car if you want to refuel. Once you're outside, what is the problem with going into the store and pay at the till?
I guess hackers / fraudsters will love this app.
Another pointless thing that makes you more vulnerable and more dependent on your smartphone.
automatically keeps receipts for you and saves you the hassle of walking in and standing in a queue / being subjected to 3 mars bars for £4 special offers and manky toilets.0 -

Those with small kids find it easier than dragging them all in to the little shop as they shouldn't be left unattended in a car0 -
How many people actually do that?phoenix1837 wrote: »Those with small kids find it easier than dragging them all in to the little shop as they shouldn't be left unattended in a car
I see very few small kids in filling stations, and lots left in the car.0 -

If the BP app could be used at our local Shell station there would be no need to get off your butt at all as the nice man fills up the car for you.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

Well for kick off, the link you posted is 3 years old.
The practicalcaravan.com chat room thread they quote is 8 years old.
https://www.practicalcaravan.com/forum/general/38729-mobile-phones-at-petrol-stations
It was a Morrisons fuel station in the article.
The app is a BP app for use at BP stations.
Do we really need to be delving some 8 years in to the past in an attempt to cause outrage and confusion?
So the secret is out , morrisons fuel is different to BP fuel :j0 -
