Dear Sirs,
Yours faithfully,
...was the way to go for a formal email or letter to any solicitor.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just a little concerned they haven't acknowledged. Perhaps a tactic to say I never challenged it, I wonder0

If by post, did you get a free certificate of posting from the post office? If by e-mail, did you take a screen shot and/or send a copy of the e-mail to yourself either as cc or bcc?1

I emailed it.
It's in my sent folder, I could always send again with myself copied in0 -
Why would they reply? You haven't said anything that needs one.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I've been reading this brilliant post https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5546325/court-claim-procedure-updated-october-2016
and just want to confirm what stage we're at.
All I've done so far is respond by email to the LBC, as far as I understand I'm now awaiting Gladstones to send me a Claim Form?
I do not submit a defense letter until then, is this correct?0 -
The claim form will come from the county court business centre in Northampton. Once you receive the claim form you complete the AoS on-line and that is the time to start compiling your defence BUT there is no reason not to start reading up about defences and the court procedure, which you will find in the NEWBIE sticky post # 2. In there is a run through of what happens when, what you must do and by when, how to complete the AoS and some example concisely written defences by Bargepole.1

Defence is pretty much written already0 -
Got my reply from the DPO at UK CPM with all my data etc.
It says within the email that they can confirm they got my information from the DVLA as the registered keeper.
I am not, and have never claimed to be the registered keeper.
This could go in my favour right? they have not done their homework here0
