Do you think my local MP would be interested in this? Or would it be the MP of the area of the car park?
It's your MP you should be writing to, but the MP where the car park is should surely be interested on what's happening in his constituency.

Why not write to both of them? :D
  • I had read some defence's were sent via email. Do I submit my defence online Money Claim under 'Particulars of Claim'

I would've hoped you read it in your own thread.

Doesn't post #24 above give you enough information?

Do not file your Defence via MCOL.
That is clearly explained in post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread.
  • So I submitted my defence and had hoped this would all go away- unfortunately not. I have now just received the directions questionnaire for the small claims track. It just looks like a photocopy of Parking Eyes form. Do I have to do anything on my side?

    Who sent it?

Is it a copy of PE's form that PE have sent to you?

Or is it a DQ sent by to you by the CCBC?

Whatever it is, how to real with it is fully explained in detail in post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread.
  • Hi Keith, the first letter was a copy on behalf of the claimant. I have now received a notice of proposed allocation to the small claims track attached with a directions questionnaire. Do I agree for this to be referred to mediation?
  • I have just read the Newbies thread and followed all instructions. I will photocopy the paperwork and send it back to them - thank you!

I believe the advice is never to accept mediation due to the conversation going like this:-
Mediator "Defendant - do you want to pay it all"
    Defendant "No"
Mediator "Claimant will you accept £0"
    Claimant "No"
    End of mediation

In the NEWBIE sticky, I found this on how to complete the DQ.
