lol Dizzy... I ate an apple... home alone too... cant be bothered to cook for just me..

    Everything packed I think..

Just food to sort, xbox, laptops, ipads, knitting, .. and I think that is everything.. I feel so incredibly organised for once and OH has Saturday this week to Sunday next week off.. so I have him all to myself for 9 whole days.. I really can't wait.. I have so many jobs for him on Saturday lol.

He collected my ring earlier it is so incredibly sparkly!!! I fell in love with it all over again <3 I definitely bought the right one, I am still so pleased with it after all this time. I get so many compliments on it too.. :D

New top came, it is just a touch too small.. but my 2 sizes smaller trousers fit so thats a win!

Half an hour knitting and I'm off to bed I think... maybe I'll get the uniforms out first..

Hey, welcome back, roundtuit! I was wondering yesterday if you'd sorted your laptop or not. And then you pop up.

Thank you Fayolle :) xx I hummed and hawed about whether to replace the laptop or not as I only really missed my flylady friends - I even enjoyed 'real' shopping (made sure I went when the supermarket was quiet) ... well. 'enjoyed' is maybe a bit strong as I detest the check out/ packing part, but browsing the aisles was ok.

However as the house slowly deteriorated I acknowledged my need for the accountability that being with you lovely ladies brings - I have no idea how it works, but it does - and DS whisked me down to the store to buy a new lappy. :D And here I am - sighs with relief ;)

I must have been getting into gear so I could return without total shame - hence the annihilation of Mount Washmore and the steady attack on the mound of recycling and unwashed pots. I also took three bags to c/s earlier in the week.:T

It's good to be back. Hugs all round.

Morning flyers. Hope you're all ok on this rainy Friday.

I've already done my first paid shift today, dogs have been walked and have taken delivery of a parcel. Yesterday, I actually did the ironing.

Paperwork now as I'm hoping it's pay day.

Enjoy the rest of the day.

Afternoon all...thread's a bit quiet, so I thought I might WAKE YOU ALL UP :D

Big hello to Roundtuit - missed you!

Three deliveries received, carpenters have put up a temporary handrail on the new stairs, football trophies sorted for tomorrow, half hour telephone conversation with my mum, er, about nothing really, cups of tea with my friend but no actual flying done...

    Anyways...lunchtime now...

I decided to defer doing Mr LW's washing til tomorrow; there's room for another days' worth of his clothes in the WM and it'll be better use of the water and leccy if it's full - right? :D

Emergency @ldi shop done (we were nearly out of milk); now just doing basic pottering/dusting/tidying til 16:00 when Dusty Dog is due.

Its raining.. so washing still wet.

Nails done.. not posted parcels or collected my prescription but I don't care.. I'll sort those tomorrow when I've had sleep!

I need to do food for beasties..

this evening I have a shopping list to write.

I spent half an hour building a lego model and I'll wondering if I need to glue it together..

Best do food.. I think Squeak needs an early night..

Last swimming tomorrow so I might send OH with the 3 of them so I can get the shop stuff done in peace.. oh stuff it, I'll do an online order thingy and have it delivered.. *laaazy*

I need to pack knitting, OH can do the xbox tomorrow.. then we just have to load up the car on Monday.. I don't think I have ever been this organised in my life.. I'm quite unlike myself!

    Hi all

Well its been a funny old week. Work madly busy and I have discovered that my thyroid is playing up so now on meds - explains why I have been feeling a bit poorly.

Wasted time today looking at cars for DS1 - both of which were not really as good as we were expecting. This is all becoming very stressful particularly as DS wants something fast and sporty and we want something sensible. We are paying for this so get the final say but want DS to be reasonably happy. Oh and there is no money for a new car really - but the advice from the garage is to get shot of the old one before it dies completely.

Some paid stuff to catch up on but that might be tomorrow. Tired now.

Thank you for your encouragement Honey Bear and Fayolle. Every little does help, you are so right, I feel so much better even doing 5 minutes towards the declutter/keeping on top of things.

On the good news front we got a surprise £1k from our PPI claim today. Brings our debt-free date forward and looks very likely to make the Xmas 18 target.

    Have a great weekend all.:):):)

Good morning ladies! Slightly cooler here today, but that's OK.

Didn't get much done yesterday, but managed to hang the heavy curtains in the dining room...at last...colour and length is perfect, so my guess in the shop when they had a half price sale has saved us £90 :j

This room is steadily getting closer to bring finished. Plan to paint the mirror surround today, ready for hanging ASAP.

PS - Kitchen still looks good :D

Big wave to everyone, newbies, returnees and "old" faces xxx
