I wonder, if you know, how many of those 40+ couples are still married?

Just a couple of weeks ago I went to my nephew's second wedding. That was a first for me. All the others (dozens in my case) are still together.

22, including my own. I am 53, and the first one I went to, I was about 3 years old so don't have a lot of memories of that one but I do remember wearing frilly over-nappy knickers!

One and I hope it stays at only one. I decided they are too expensive and rather boring. I now avoid them like the plaque.

A few, i find myself judging when i go to weddings, i have been to some excellent weddings and others that were terrible, just attention to detail its the small things that add up. Iv been a bridesmaid once. The last wedding i went too wasn’t great, the next one i go to i can tell already will be much better

As a child, hundreds! My dad's a vicar and I was in the church choir from the age of about 9 to 16. During the summer we'd have 1-3 a week from May - September. We got paid a few quid for each one, more if it was videoed, so it was a nice bit of pocket money if there was three in a day!

As an actual guest, about 12 including my own.

Shouldn't this be moved to the moneysaving arms...along with the majority of other threads from OP? This forum section is to give/get relationship advice...
