Always a lot of faff with M&S and First Direct. These are often described as banks for "old people" with far too much paper and aimed at those preferring telephone banking to online. The online banking experience is bottom among UK current account banks. They are quite nice and friendly even a little too chatty but yes so ineffective I wonder how they survive in today's world.0

Just applied for a HSBS credit card online
all went well....we will be InTouch...no limit given
no online approval of signed agreements !
Waited 7 days for loads of paper, sign these and return !
AND we will tell you your credit limit when we send you card !
How old quaint : so I sign a agreement without knowing ???0
