Marks and Spencer Current Account

Hi, my wife and I have applied to switch our current account to M&S. This was done about 3 weeks ago. We did get a reply from them saying that they would get back to us, but so far we have heard nothing. I have read that M&S are slow to respond, but is this a normal time frame for them to reply to us, either accepting us or declining us. Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem

Mine wasn't as long as three weeks, but was still a faff
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?
  • I applied about 2 weeks ago and had the email saying I was accepted on Thursday.

Is this the norm? Do you not get an instant decision with them then?
Did you really mean to put loose?
Lose: no longer possess, not to retain, unable to find
Loose: not firmly or tightly fixed in place

This is normal for M&S. Patience is required.

I applied a few weeks ago and have only had a text to say that they're dealing with a high volume of applications...
  • Do you apply online or at branch?
I think at branch is faster

Thanks for all the replies. Seems I'm not the only one having to wait. Will wait maybe another couple of weeks and if I haven't heard from them in that time I will call into a branch of M&S and see if they can help in any way. Thanks again for all replies
