That seems a bit banal - particularly on a Money Saving site?

I think buying an M2 requires a lot more commitment and specific needs - financial and otherwise - than simply "looking for a change".

    Only if it's real ;)

    Good point well made. ;)

I'm surprised it hasnt been referred to as "the Mighty M2".

And to think I had been resisting calling this out right from the op first post. Something about his sentence structure stood out.

Took a while for him to get to the BMW this time. Maybe we should all club together and buy him a matchbox BMW so he is finally happy.

As I mentioned on another thread, I really didn!!!8217;t get on with mine, and ended up selling it back to the dealer. Nothing awful about it, but I just never really bonded with it.

It!!!8217;s a shame, as the reviews had been so good.

Would that be the base model or with the 4 wheel option?

Ditto. Felt it stood out like a sore thumb tbh, and we are overdue a reawakening....

What about the other accounts he has(two that I suspect :D ) plus there is at least one other troll on here using multi accounts.

If he was showing off, wouldn't he pick something slightly better than the m2? 370bhp for an M car? :O

I used to have an RX8 and it was amazing in the twistys, but you defo had to work the gearbox to get the best out of it. and then get 20 mpg (my best was 29, and that was 55mph on the motorway). my s5 does that (although nowhere near the same handling to be fair) and it has 230ish bhp more. That was the real downside for me with that car. Loved everything else about it, and cant help but laugh at the people who judge the engine based on what they hear down the pub, on forums etc. /end rxrant

not sure why everyone seems to be venting on here. I know its a money saving forum but jeez everyone seems so judgemental! its just a car, u don't know my personal circumstances or anyone elses for that matter. if someone wants to buy a nice car, or a nice watch, clothes or whatever then that's up to them and only them.
