Thanks.. I think they are.
I had a letter this morning confirming a £3000 PPI settlement, I really didn't think I was going to get anything but this is amazing!
I also have an interview tomorrow morning for a job back in Vietnam. I'm hopeful that I'll get a job soon, somewhere in the world.

Today I had my commitment meeting for Universal Credit. I got a bit cross with the job centre woman, I shouldn't have because she was only doing her job, but I got annoyed when she told me that taking my degree off my cv might help me get an office job. Hey ho.
I have a final interview for a job back in Vietnam next week. Am spending a lot of time telling my dog that I love him...Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0 -
NSD today, walked the dog three times and he's snoring now!
Had a call about a potential short term contract. I'm not getting my hopes up as the last temp job fell through, but this could be a great opportunity even if it's only for a few months. It's great money too so could be a winner.
I have enough money now with the PPI to get me through to the end of March as long as I stick to my budget and don't lose focus. I hope it won't be that long till I'm earning again though and I can use the PPI towards my credit cards.Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0 -
I've had an interesting weekend. I went on a date yesterday, for the first time in forever. The chap isn't right for me but I felt proud of myself for giving it a go.
Today I was taking the dog for his long walk when he jumped in a river to chase some ducks... the bank was too steep for him to get out and to cut a long story short, a very kind runner jumped into the river to pull him out. The dog has been on the naughty step ever since.
NSD today so far, although I'm very tempted to pop to the shop and get a nice bottle of red and some potatoes so I can do a roast. Perhaps if I have a bubble bath and then put my pyjamas on the temptation will go.
Very much hoping that this is the week I get some job news, I'm getting a bit bored now.Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0 -
I just remembered that there's a film on at the cinema I want to see this week. If I don't buy a bottle of wine I can use that money to pay for the cinema, so I'll stick to tea tonight!Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0
