Must only be in certain stores as we were in our local one and it was only doing them buy one get one free - about £7 a roll for the cheap stuff.
  • I went to a store in Gateshead,my brother has just got some in Newcastle.
They told me that they sell out of it straight away.!!
On my reciept its says B&Q DIY ROLL,if you want to ring and ask..

Sorry I shoudl have said we dont need any it was just that we were in and I was curious and hence had a look while we were there. Thanks for the reply and PM though :)
  • try the npower deal.

You can get it online or from Build Center.

Only £3/roll - one of the cheapest offers but most importantly it's free delivery which will save you shed loads of time rather than making multiple trips to pick it up.
  • Looks like npower must be getting some useful carbon credits on that insulation if they employ people to push it by posting to 2 year old threads.
  • Anyone know if this offer is being repeated soon? Would like to top up my loft before winter!!

javajim - Im in Nottingham as well, a home owner earning over £40k per year with no benefits. Im getting loft and cavity wall free via the council route. Our home currently has NO isulation (only completed on it 3 weeks ago). surveyer came round last wek and istallation booked for 17th Sep.

    We were told:

Free if you have less than 100mm of insulation already.
if you have 100mm to 150mm its £50 to top up
if you have more than 150mm but less than 270mm its £100 to top up.
