Unfortunately, I cant find the post, but i did warn you!
Quite true
I think some months ago some lady said theyd rang Littlewoods to tell them that codes were on the interent and being used 'illegally' in her opinion. So everyone knew Littewoods had to be investigating what was going on surely. And I dont see how any of this relates to 'a sale saying 2 months later that the item wasnt actually in the sale and asking for their money' as a comparison.
More thought needs to be put to how to get out of paying rather than trying to boycott Littlewoods.

The lady you speak of has a seriously flawed opinion and no understanding of the law... A very good analogy that has been posted several times is that of transferring this into a real shop environment in which you give the cashier a coupon (could be a photocopy or you found it on the floor) and they accept it and you pay for the goods. Months later you get a letter saying that the voucher was invalid and you owe money. What would you do? I certainly know what I would do and it is exactly the same as I am doing here as it is the same situation.
LW have known about this for over 5 years now and have done nothing to rectify their broken systems and now it has come back to bite them in the bum. I have no sympathy for them and am determined to make them pay for their negligence, rudeness, ignorance, arrogance, stupdity and bully boy tactics.0 -

It was last year that I first read about it on this site. I paid off my account when it was first mentioned as I had used an internet voucher. They have never asked for any money back and I just stopped using them.Ellie
