This also has wider implications for us all. Tesco could claim back all the points and money off our internet orders

yup they have done this to me.To add insult to injury they are trying to charge me for the samsung phone they never delivered to me as well.I paid using my debit card so as far as I can see it never signed anything or entered into a credit agreement with them however last 2 months they have sent me a bill and added a substantial fee each time.I'm not sure this is legal but dont know how to approach it.They also ring my home number everyday for something Ive not had!

Just checked my account online and they've done the same to me. I'm sure I haven't received written notification of this and then they have the nerve to charge me a £12 admin fee for late payment!

    Steer clear of these clowns!!!!!

    Wouldn't use Littlewoods ever again.

In July I ordered a mobile phone using a discount voucher.

However, the phone mysteriously got lost in transit & I never received it and they charged me 2 times for it on my credit card & refunded it 3 times (although I was not aware of the number of refunds until talking to my CC company to clarify it).

Obviously Littlewoods wanted the money back which was no problem but they also wanted another £30ish for late payment charges & admin charges.

I tried to phone them on several occasions to discuss this but got fed up holding for nearly an hour each time I phoned or being told be a message that they were too busy to take my call. One of the times that I got through to speak to someone they managed to cut me off whilst transferring me to someone else.

This morning I received another letter with mention of more charges so after holding for another hour on the phone I got through to someone & paid the lot off. I had to pay £97 for a phone that cost £69 which I never received anyway.

They refunded £5 of the charges but wouldnt budge on any of the others.

Also got to phone back to close the account as they wouldnt do it then.

Useless bunch of smelly northern C U next tuesdays.
Nationwide bank charges reclaimed - £1500ish
    Matched betting profit - £94.26 - started 17/11/07
    Quidco - £86.31

Competition winnings - £5 Amazon voucher, Family ticket to the Panto worth £57.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
    link not working for me
  • Ooops - now fixed!
  • Trading standards have gone against littlewoods in one case because it took them 2 months to decide the purchaser couldn't have the discount, by then the seller had already entered into a contract with the buyer, its on the bbc website here... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7063769.stm
