parking ticket only 1 sign obscured

I went into town with a driver and we got the children and pram put of the car. On the way in there was a suspicious looking man on his phone looking at the back of his tyre of his car which wasn't damaged. he was parked out side of the carpark and was looking about anxiously.
We spoke about it for a few minutes and left the car park completely.forgetting about tickets bit for good reason... there are no signs on leaving the car prk.
On return, there was a ticket on the car, and we then looked around for signs.
There was a sign on the outside of the carpark which was obscured by the car with the man on the phone. on the inside behind that sign was a small sign also with carpark information. neither of which could be seen from where we where, there are no other signs in the carpark. And none on the pathways on the exit.
We were able to film upon leaving to show only these signs and one small blue one at the back of the carpark directly opposite the entrance that says pay and display.
I do not think the signs are adequate. and there are no warnings on the fence when leaving the car park.
I have marked the two signs with yellow. the blue pay and display sign with a blue dot, the carpark footpath that leads to town with a red line and the vehicle I was in with a purple dot. The man was parked on the pavement outside the carpark right in front of the yellow sign.
I have filmed the entire carpark. there are 100% no other signs and the pay and display sign is on the top of the inside yellow Sign and rhe machine is again next to the yellow sign and none can be seen from the bottom end of the carpark due to the steep slope and other vehicles. the green dots mark where the cars were parked on arrival. I don't know about the other spaces.

Everyone is politely asked to read up on this in the newbies faq thread near the top of the forum
Go there now to get an insight into the game you are now caught up in and advice on how to go about the initial appeal
It's posts that get you posting links ability not years since registering0 -
Not a car park in Haworth is it?

Which parking firm is noted on the so-called PCN?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD0 -
hi Quentin.
I already have read (2 amd a bit times before I fell alseep) the initial response information but was unsure if editing the information to the signs part was quite righ for this situation.
I have also trawler and trawler the internet for an idea of adequate signage but found nothing to help at all.
Do readers think that this is worth chasing for a start.
The only thing I can see is the signs must be clear... but clear how? clear in understanding? clear in themselves, or clear as in apparen?
Maybe it's the aspie in me that confuses me so much.0 -
Why don't you try answering a few questions you have been asked if you require help, the most important one being who is the PPC?
Coupon-mad asked you some questions in the post above your last one which you ignored, and she is one of the most experienced on here!
As for posting a link it doesn't matter how long you have been on here it's about how many posts you have made.
To get round that host your pictures and change http to say hxxp others will be able to convert for you.
With the cryptic information given so far and lack of answers people will be too busy to get their crystal balls polished up to help you!0 -
hello @coupon-mad
No, it's an NCP in Bolton.
thank you0 -
thanks @fisherjim just having a few issues using the mobile version.
I'll try this, as suggested ... parking hxxps://imgur.com/gallery/ky3Gy6v0 -
just use the template "as is", as post #1 of the FAQ tells you to do
also read that part where it tells you in that post that it doesnt matter what you as a member think, you just go with the flow and use that template , appealing as keeperQ - ''I have read the NEWBIES thread but cannot find anything specific to my case...my case is different''.
A - NO IT ISN'T. YOU DO NOT NEED SPECIFICS. FORGET THE DETAIL, MOST CASES ARE ALL THE SAME.
and
TEMPLATE ''ONE SIZE FITS ALL'' FIRST APPEAL THAT DOESN'T SAY WHO WAS DRIVING
- if this is a BPA member parking firm, the point is to get a POPLA code if you do not get it cancelled.
- this is why not to name the driver (thanks to The Slithy Tove for this explanation):
it also tells you that the whole idea is to get a popla code if they fail to cancel the charge
any signage issues will be embedded in your pdf to popla once your popla appeal is complete
add dead links to any photos , changing http to hxxp until you have enough posts to post live links

I can see three signs in that photo and that's without counting the massive sign facing outwards - which surely you would've seen on the way in.
They're all bright yellow. Didn't you think they were worthy of a closer look?
I hope that isn't your car that we can see the reg. no.0 -
No. it's not my car.. as I said, I wasn't driving, I was with someone else.
The sign on the outside was obscured by someone Parked there.
I remember them clearly as he was acting very suspiciously. the ones on the back are the only other signs. those signs have car parking in front of them.
The car park is on a very steep slope so the other layers of cars block even the entrance.
There are no other signs, none at all. There appears to be a sign that may have been a parking sign near the foot exit but there is nothing on it, two bear posts.
These photos were taken when the car park was nearly empty.0
