Meanwhile I got a voice mail.ssying my case us closed from the Hayward Heath office

Like I say a party from that liar of a guy who said he was a.inspector from the cavity will insulators I had nothing

As you know solicited are scum bags

    In English please?
  • In English please?
Something about a party hosted by a liar from a will insulator. With solicited scumbags.

    Couldn't be clearer.

    Thanks for clearing it up . . . ;)
  • Lioness123- I also had a claim with these guys. I wasn't able to give my choice within the 14 days period. Plus I didn't agree with the options they provided. I will be going to Citizen Advice Bureau and see if they can help. Because if they cant support us with the claim, they should be closing the case, why is it on our head to close the case and then we might have to pay.

We got fooled! unfortunately. It makes me wonder how many more people they have in this mess.

It will be interesting to see what the two different outcomes of our case will be, as you closed the case and I am seeking further help.

it might be a good idea to go to CAB. But am not sure how much they can help, I will have to wait and see.
  • Hey I didn't close the case .... I told them the inspector told me when he came over to my home r he was from the cavity wall insulation team that fiyted my insulation. He cime to do an audit . not a cold caller...

Have they come round to your house since the initial cold call?
Have they done any reports or inspections?
  • If you win your cwi they take 25% plus vat...
If you lose you pay there cost 100% plus can be inflated to what they like
    Win win for soliciters
  • No. No one has come to inspect. It's just been communication with solicitors.

In regards to paying. Well then it's definitely a scam if they will get money off us if we lose. It suppose to be 'no win, no fee'. It's seems unlikely we will be winning.

    It's sad and upsetting really.
  • See what happens. But you can contact legal ombudsman. I hope they are of some use. But you need to complain to the firm first. Before going down that path.

Which option did you tick. I thought earlier you wrote close case.
  • I've just realised what you mean Lioness123. They (behalf of the solicitor) did an initial inspection while doing door to door in my area. That was 1 and half year ago. It's been a headache ever since. Useless people. The law firm took over the previous solicitors I was with.

Complain direct to them in writing asking to respond to your complaint within 10 or 14 days. Then contact legal ombudsman. That's what CAB and SRA their legal regulations agency told me.
