Advance warning of the new challenge

This challenge finishes Sunday night, so it's time to start thinking about the next challenge.

    Slimming for Summer

I will be starting the new thread at the weekend, and the new challenge will run from Monday 2nd July to Sunday 2nd September which is 9 weeks.

If you would like to be part of the next challenge please post clearly what you would like to lose during the challenge and I will add you to the spreadsheet.

This is what I have up to now - have I missed anyone?

You are not a failure. A 1lb gain is nothing for a holiday. One of the women at my group went away for a week and put on 8lb! I'm sure you'll lose that lb and more by next week.

Having our bathroom done by a local builder/plumber. He actually helped with how to reorganise the bathroom as we're having the bath taken out and having a big shower put in instead as our bathroom is too small to have a separate shower cubicle and as we're getting older it's getting harder to get in and out of the bath to shower! If my DH fell over when trying to get out of the bath I wouldn't be able to get him up so safer with a standalone shower methinks! We're also able to put in a couple of tall cupboards so will have more storage than we currently have. Will let you know how it turns out once it's done!

    Back to SW matters:rotfl:

    B - SW fry up
L - prawn sweet chilli noodles
D - goat shank, done in SC with onions & carrots. Will also do some roast potatoes & veg to go with it. Have got cauliflower, broccoli & cabbage in the fridge so will probably have some of each!

    HEA - milk
HEB - not decided yet but possibly toast with Laughing Cow triangle
Syns - couple of glasses of wine so within syns. (Have to admit we drank a bottle between us last night so used full syns but still have a few spare for Tuesday's meal out).

Just realised I forgot to add the syns for the sweet chilli sauce so another 3 syns but still within syns as wine will be 12. Will only go over if I decide to have the Laughing Cow later!

tweets, I am so happy for you that your mum is looking forward to being in a happy new home. Well done on your loss too.

That’s what we did with our bathroom too, Denise, and for the same reasons. I do miss my bath still – it’s been 5 years since we had it done – even although the shower is super duper. I always try to get a room with a bath whenever we go away now.
