I am feeling a bit fed up! Been on SW for 4 weeks and weight details are:
First week 1 lb on!
2nd week 5lb off
3rd week 0.5 off
4th week stayed the same.
One of those weeks was a holiday and apart from drinking more wine! I was careful to choose healthy options from the menu.
I have been doing roughly the same in terms of eating each week but the results are varied. I am having the following foods as an example of one day menu
Breakfast fat free yoghurt and granola and a banana
Lunch Ham or salmon salad, fat free yoghurt and fruit
Dinner Chicken stir fry using frylight with veg and rice/jacket pot
SW bar and fruit as extras
Milk for 3 cups of tea per day
Lots of water
At weekends I have approx 3/4 glasses of wine over the weekend period and no alcohol at all Monday to Friday.
I am not sure I have really got the hang of food combining and feel as though I am muddling through.
I am not sure where it is going wrong but it is so slow and a bit de motivating.0 -
That is a fab loss Top Girl! And well done SOTW Stoke!pollyanna24 wrote: »I need help with lunches. I am so not feeling my jacket potato with beans at the moment.
I struggle a lot with packed lunches and would sometimes love to just have a sandwich and bag of crisps like I used to. it's so time consuming cooking from scratch for three meals a day. I tend to have a lot of roast veg with couscous, salads, pasta and soups. With the salads I always have to make sure I have some chicken and a boiled egg in otherwise they just don't fill me enough.
Happyandcontented, I'm probably not the best to advise going by my track record, but briefly: Have you measured/weighed your HEA and HEB? Is everything you think is Free, definitely Free? Are you having 1/3 Speed over the course of the day? And is everything you think is Speed, definitely Speed? Are you logging all your Syns? It's easy to forget a biscuit you ate at work because someone had made them, etc. Conversely, are you having ENOUGH Syns? And are your portions reasonable? That's all I can think of!
Argh, well I was told at work today that my job is even less secure than I thought it was, and I may be out of work (again) by the end of July. So that's ace. I was feeling so good about life this morning as well, I felt 'lighter' in myself starting SW again, I had my bag full of prepared food and snacks and all was good. Of course, with news like that my anxiety levels have rocketed but I've managed to come straight home (not via the sweetie aisle) and feel determined to stay on track this time. I can't currently fit into my smart interview trousers for one thing.
Today:
B - Mullerlight and Granola
D - Cold roast traybake thing: Linda Mc saus (1), potatoes, spring onions, aubergine, courgette, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, with pea shoots and cucumber on the side.
T - Patatas Bravas and meatballs (free veggie meatballs), served with salad and cucumber again.
Snack - Homemade fruit salad pot: apple, clem, bloobs, pomegrante, passionfruit.
HEA - Milk in coffee
HEB - Granola (40g Asda raisin and almond)
Syns - Coconut oil (2), sugar in coffee (3), sausage (1), Hula Pufts with the match later (3.5) = 9.5
Right, off to make my tea, I'm starving!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
