Well, it's properly caught up with me this week. I feel huge. Star week isn't helping either.

    Today

    B - Overnight Granola

D Jacket potato with cheese, beans and salad.

    T - Stir fry

1 syn for the noodles in the stirfry, 4 syns for some WW cookies later. Tea with the other half of my HEXA.

Try to replace the Jacket with sweet potatoe, the cheese with cottage cheese and the beans with a pulse or grain. Much better on the GI index, and much lower calorific content than the original.

Small changes, can make a big change over a longer time frame.

Sneaking in too say hello and I have been naughty:rotfl::rotfl:

Good!! I'm very pleased to hear that. It's what holidays are for.:D

We're away in the morning for 3 weeks of bliss!:D:j

Good to see you posting again lush. Hope your doctor can help you but you know SW is a healthy way of eating whatever happens. I always think it's harder for you as you have to buy in synful things for the family.

Yesterday's party food could have been very SW friendly. There were some lovely things like poached salmon, chicken, home cooked gammon, new potatoes and lots of leaves. I did have all that with just a little mayo. Then I had a poached pear but I had a bit of HM pavlova and some cheese too.:o

Meringues aren't free sunflower but the shop bought ones are quite low syn. I don't know about HM, suppose it depends how many you can make for the sugar content. Sainsbury's do some mini meringues which are one syn each and so easy to measure out.

I'm still managing to stay on plan today although there's very little fresh food in the house.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage with HEA milk
    L: Subway ham salad
    D: SW Spaghetti Bolognese
Syns: extra HEXs 6, syrup 2.5, mayo 2?

I'm planning to have Weetabix fro breakfast tomorrow and probably an all day breakfast at the airport then while I won't go mad I know I'll be off plan. :)

    Hi all.

Well done Sunflower on SOTW and well done too to all the losers, keep going every one else! And welcome Newbies to this brilliant thread.

    Bubbs
glad to hear you're being naughty on your hols and Maman have a fabulous time on yours.

I'm still hovering a couple of pounds under target and I'm happy with that as I set my target at the top end of healthy BMI for my height. I'm working at the moment involving a lot of walking and standing and it's doing me good, I think. I don't have a step counter but I reckon I must be easily doing 10,000. I must make sure I keep it up in some way when work finishes in a couple of weeks.

    Today's menu
B 2 Alpen lights and a banana (have to eat breakfast on the run)
L Salad with cous cous and a bit of feta cheese with low fat salad dressing, fresh strawberries with yoghurt
D Egg and ham salad with new potatoes.

Much too hot here to cook 'proper' dinners, though I'm starting to crave a roast!

    Have a good week everyone.
