Yes, school holidays are a bit earlier here in Scotland, finish end of June.
After making SW carbonara, I had 2 egg whites left, so I made meringues – and filled them with cream (Elmlea light) and raspberries- mmmmm!
See you all tomorrow!
I love meringue, especially home made!
Sounds lovely tiger.
Feel like that was a quick weekend....

Love meringue,
How do you make them and are they syn free? ThanksI, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.
Weight loss 3 stone0 -
morning all,
I've had a week away in Blackpool with friends (most amazing weeks for ages) and before that had been trying some different weight loss methods...none of which helped. BIL's wedding is in 2 weeks and i am still very unhappy with myself and 2st heavier than at our own wedding
I'm going to go to the GP about my weight and try again; dad has been diagnosed with a thyroid problem now (to top off all his other health issues) which means him, his sister, their brother and their mum all have or had issues. he's asked my brother and i to get checked. especially because I'm always tired and have all these recurrent sinus infections and brain fog/memory issues
so anyway since other attempts appear to have been futile I have decided to try and get back to the SW style of eating as at least when i was trying SW i felt a bit better in myself.
I have switched to red milk (so i believe a HE is 350ml, well according to multiple sources on Google) as well.
today is roughly planned to look like this:
now: tea milk from hea
breakfast: heB cereal (either 2 own brand weetabix or 35g choc shreddies) an apple
after gym/dr/bank: kiwi and grapes
lunch: prawns on little gem lettuce with cucumber, spring onions and extra light mayo ( 2tbsp - not sure if this is 1 syn or 2. will count 2) and an easy peeler
tea: either shredded beef in gravy (leftovers, it has gravy granules in so synned. approx 4 syns) with boiled new potatoes and salad bits or....something else which i haven't worked out yet! more than likely the beef as i still haven't been and bought fresh meat since we got back at the weekend.
i have some syn value questions but will ask them later if that is ok as I've got to get littlie to school today!************************************

Welcome back LLS. Sorry to hear you've been having trouble losing weight and feeling worse than you did before. Definitely wort getting checked for thyroid as that can stop you losing weight easily. If it is a problem for you then once medication is sorted you should be able to lose weight more easily. Took a while to find the right medication for me but fine now. Hop back on the SW wagon and hopefully you'll feel better in yourself.
