How do i go about wiping comp and starting again?

don't think i'm ever going to find a solution to the quidco thing

i think the only solution is to wipe everyting and start again

how do i go about this?

    Before a full re-install, have you tried using a different browser?

    yep tried firefox and ie

    both have same probs......some links will work others wont

    all links work from a different comp

    comps not too old

    only use up approx 40g on harddisk

    and ive got a portable harddrive sitting here with 54g spare at mo

    so thinking a reinstall might solve probs

    and it would be a good thing to learn anyway
  • Have you tried disabling zone alarm? Noticed you upgraded or installed latest version just before current troubles.
    Keeping the pedants at bay - dot an i or cross a t only if you feel you really can't stop yourself:p

    yeah i uninstalled almost everything..well

    firewall
    antivirus
    antispyware etc etc

    still had same probs

    what programs would you recommend i download to have ready to install without connecting to net once i've carried out reinstall
