    So feeling quite grateful today;

    1. I've managed to get my travel money sorted in M&S and my travel insurance on this site (£32 annual with hypothyroidism and asthma declared)

    2. I got home in one piece despite horrific levels of water on the M! (and a history of breaking parts of my body on this day!!)

    3. I am grateful for Mrs Plevin (god bless her!) I got back to a letter from Santander offering me £28.19 for the excessive commission on a DFS sofa I bought in about 2003. Given the statute of limitations, I'll take that.

    Now I just have the rest of my work to get through this week and packing to do.....and I've just remembered what I meant to get to keep the mossies away!

    Wow, the tax man is confusing...but quick and confusing. Got a letter from him yesterday telling me to check my calculations!!!???
    Got a letter today telling me they are paying me what is owed about now, right about now. Going to check account tomorrow. It's good timing for Cambodia. Should make lasting the next weeks to payday considerably easier.

    Have got the work done for handing to my colleague while I'm away. I need to do about 4 hours on Sunday of all the other bits outstanding, or as many as I can. Been a bit of a slog this week.

    Holiday prep and packing tomorrow :T:T:T Ear plugs to buy and photo's to get for the temple pass.

    Flying back from Vietnam later today. Have not used my emergency credit card and have not used a cash point. Have had a good holiday which has clarified things for me, things I need to change on my return.

    He's been out and fixed it. Just need to pay him. PCB I think which is the unit that converts power. £220 which sounds okay until you add the vat!!!!
    He's fixed it but I think it still needs a service so I'm going to get him back in for that as he seems good, he seems to be trying his best.
