    I love cards against humanity:rotfl:

It really is the funniest game ever - I had to buy a new copy as I left mine with relatives who are in their 70's as a gift for looking after us.
We weren't sure how they would take to it but they were crying with laughter

I will buy a new expansion pack for it before xmas as after a few goes the answers can become a bit "tired"

I would never judge..........I've bought it at that time without having completed a night shift !

Today is manic , my department has gone from 3 to 2 due to internal move so the workload is being juggled , as there has been a bit of a down turn in business , we agreed with our manager that we would monitor how this panned out before we recruited as we think it may just be a part time hand we need - However I am now learning the departed work mates work load and my browsing time has been affected !!!
I made my lunch this morning and left my sandwiches on the kitchen , I was so looking forward to them - For the first time in I don't know how long I had to drive out and buy so I could eat. I chose KFC , the drive through queue went round the block so i thought park up and walk only to find the queue was twice as bad!!!

Some days you are the pidgeon and some you are the statue - Today I am the latter

I have also realised what a hetic and expensive few months are approaching - I have tapped figures in to my new budget sheet and scrutinised my online bank statement , I can't see any obvious "waste" of money but I don't have any surplus so I think at some point I shall go through and work out which purchases were essential and which could ha been avoided or potentially smaller

Found out there is a free music festival on in my work town this weekend so as the plans I had with the kids have been changed I may see if they fancy this , We did Notting Hill last year but didn't enjoy it as much as we had expected and ended up hopping over to camden instead
Urgh, yup it does sound like you're on Statue Duty today. Hope it gets better! I hate leaving lunch at home, so gutting.
Free music festival sounds good though!

Some of my mates are my age & get affronted, I was surprised! I think that's a great 'thank you' gift. I might ask Father Ch-too-early-to-say-full-word to bring me an expansion pack in December

You know it makes sense !

The Reg / Green and Blue expansion packs are much better value then the traditional 1/2/3/4/5 and 6.
The coloured versions are £19.00 and the numbered are £10 however Red contains expansion pack 1 - 3 , Blue packs 4 -6 and green completely new answers

I'm going for the Green pack and hoping there are some that will make my belly muscles ache !

  • 9 days until pay day , I will get through without the overdraft - I am already juggling figures on my spreadsheet trying to make next months money fit the month

There are a lot of commitments this month so I am going to firstly meet the min payments and revisit frequently to gauge what I will be able to overpay
All the mins go at the start of the month and there are several weeks between this and the statement dates so I can monitor without pressure ( plus the bonus of the 0% is there is no interest being accrued)

I have two concerns which are the 0% deals expiring shortly and the car part on my old nationwide card ( I have put this on here so that it doesn't get swallowed up amongst my "historic" debts)

I have two 0% deals finishing in Dec and I have been juggling as to how I will achieve getting rid in this time span - I think I have it figured out and I do have a safety net that I will be able to transfer across to another 0% 6 month deal to give more breathing space if I need it. Obviously this does accrue a 3% charge but its better that astronomical interest every month

The rule for September is DO NOT STRESS I will get there eventually

I signed up for the prolific survey site but my account has been sat for verification forever despite me confirming both email and phone number - I think I will need to look at other options to use but I am not sure which site best suits my needs
I don't have a computer at home but could potentially borrow my mums
I can use the works machine and my tablet so if anyone has any suggestions that would be great
I'm happy to build a cash build site or amazon vouchers.

Where I have downsized each time I moved and until I arrived back home I have very little "surplus" items or possessions so selling or car boot sales are not an extra income generator for me so I think the surveys would be the best bet ( or a 2nd job but I do a 45 hour week and am always shattered at the end of my day )
  • Its that ladies time of the month , my head feels like a pressure cooker and my tolerance levels have dipped - Life just feels chaotic without any real reason

Work is much busier then it has been , and I am playing mums taxi to my son as he finishes work just after me
Can you please keep everything crossed for middle sprog tomorrow who has a job interview - it isn't for what she wants to do but it will bring you some ££ in to her account and is quite well paid for what it is.
The hours are slightly unsociable but she isnt concerned about this and there is the benefit that she will be available during the early day for other interviews and can also get on with her driving lessons - It will also do her morale the world of good.
The guy has asked to bring all her all documents so it sounds hopeful

I am meeting up with my "old" ladies tonight so will have a spend day - 2 older ladies that I used to work and I will be having dinner.
We haven't for quite a few years , life has just got in the way , one of them recently lost her husband and the other I seem to only contact her when I am asking a favour ( her work place I am heavily linked with ).
If she hadn't noticed I was certainly starting too so I have addressed the balance and suggested we all meet up.
I will pick one up and take us both to where the non driver lives

I am looking forward to it but after the car I could do with any extra cirricular activities .........such is life it has been on the calender and too tricky to arrange in the past to contemplate cancelling and I am also aware that my widowed friend is very similar to my mum and possible experiencing a new found feeling of lonliness so I particulary don't want to let her down

Finally , for us other 40 ladies there is a particulary interesting article in the daily mail today regarding life and debts - i had a good read , so many different circumstances and hits home how many people are in the same boat
  • P.S tastecard subscription cancelled saving £4.00 a month
It isn't needed I can get the same perks with meerkat

Out of small acorns grow mighty trees
  • Good luck for middle sprog tomorrow :)
  • Thanks SSDD23
