Need to reset my brain as my spending has become out of control I think I need to see things wrote down so I can tackle them. I'm restarting my diary so I can see progress made and hopefully this can motivate me and push me on.

So first post goes like this credit card debit st present
    B card £4626.99
    M card £4,311.93
    S card £1984.70

Had to put car insurance on b card. All cards are at 0%. At the moment only paying the minimum which I know is rubbish but I do try to throw more at them while I can.

I have a loan which we brought a car with not sure how much I owe on that exactly about £4717.00

I am living beyond my means at the moment and I am borrowing from money from childcare money to keep other account afloat. This needs to stop. Other than regular direct debits council tax, gas, electric, water the only thing I spend on really is food. I haven't brought clothes for me since January. (just brought some other with birthday vouchers).

Aims for august are to get 20 nsds. Keep to £300 food budget.

1st nsd yesterday. Shopping lust prepared for today hoping it will around 50. We have a man coming to look at our downstairs bathroom today as it's in a bit if a sorry state the wet room flooring has lifted and there weeks like there's water underneath so this needs sorting it asap. we haven't done anything to this room since we brought it 2 years ago it's our main bathroom as it has an electric shower we do have a bathroom upstairs but the showers rubbish and we don't have a combi boiler so you have to have immersion on to have a bath which costs a fortune.

Nsd number 2 yesterday. Shopping came to £49.86 but i has to a little top up shop at our local as they didnt have a couple of things i wanted. Also has a letter from santander saying that they owe me £15.46 for PPI so although not alot better than nothing so this will go on the cards. Also earned another £10 from swagbucks so thats brill im going to hold onto this for xmas pressies. I think i overcalculated the money for the childminder so if i have any left this will be going onto the credit cards as well i'll have a look at this when i get home.

Nsd 3 on Thursday. Yesterday I brought a sarnie at work, some more food from Tesco and paint from b and q for the kitchen. We have everything to finish decorating the kitchen now. So that wasn't an bad. I had 95 left of childcare money so I've used this to pay off some of our holiday for next year.

4 NSD Monday. Food shopping yesterday was £52.77. Still keeping to budget so that's amazing. Got to post some parcels but as the people have paid for them not counting this as a spend.got £15 back for poi and another £15 for selling a few bits so I'm going to put this on my credit card as a bit extra this month.

Need a gigantic kick up the butt. Been plodding along with no purpose. I need to do something work is slow at the moment so worried about that so need to clear some debts. I have decided to make some extra money by buying some clothes and selling on fleabay thus means I have to be organised to check if I am making profit. Will update what I owe when this month's payments have gone. Also been wasting money buying extra food so needs to stop I have a 300 budget for November and I'm determined to stick to it.

This is my 100% lightbulb moment. We have had the bathroom downstairs renovated as the wet room floor was lifting and we was worried about water penetration. So that's been a massive expense we had a loan from the bank of nan so that needs paying back. The debts at the moment are
    Cc1 £1906.49
    Cc2 £5122.85
    Cc3 £3006.46 total £10035.80:eek:
    Loan £3943.75

I have overspend this month already so will need to cut back the only place to cut back is on food. I have brought all my Christmas presents do that's something out if the way. My parents save shop stamps for me so that's £100 that I won't have to spend on drink and Xmas dinner. I have wrote a meal plan for this week and as the freezer is full I'm mainly getting fresh things.

I also need to stop the £10 plus spend every week on rubbish like choclate etc,

I have £30 sitting I my PayPal account I'm trying to build it up to pay for the next instalment in dd2s school trip away from home.

Have a lit if expenses for next year dd1 is going to Italy with school and she finishes secondary school so that's a prom dress and the other stuff. DD2 finishes primary school so that's another prom/party also new uniform for big school which fingers crossed is the same as dd1 but you can't get any uniform from normal shops it's all uniform suppliers which will probably be £250++.

I can make a budget but I struggle sticking to it, food is a massive bug bear as i like the freezer and cupboards to be full and I live with 2 grazers. The freezers I have two are both heaving with food which needs to be ate down for christmas big shop.

Did you weekly shop yesterday at a lid spent 54.56 I was disappointing as i wanted to keep it under £50 As the freezer is packed at the moment. DD1 has her interview at college tomorrow then straight after it's parents evening so a long day tomorrow. Have not had a bad this week yet. As a I transferred money from one credit card to another the card will not be taking there minimum monthly payment so I paid this off on the card as anyway.

  • Got my figures together these are the figures I'm going to start 2020 with

    Cc1 - 1887.43
    Cc2 - 9275.23
    Cc3 5512.99:eek:
    Loan 3786

    Total debt= 20161.65:eek::eek:

I am quite surprised by my total it's the first time in a while I have sat down and added up everything.

2020 plan of action is to pay off as much as possible before we go on holiday I also need to lose some weight before hollibops and we have some life changes our youngest starts secondary school and our eldest starts college in September 2020.

I'm in two minds st the moment on when to do a food shop as kids don't go back to school for another week and the freezer is full but we need some basics and I need some diet supplies.

  • Yesterday was a spend day went out for a meal with the family as i was fed up with bring indoors. I have £55 in my purse so I'm going to use this to pay the rest of the money for dd2 school trip then that's paid for and done. Going to go food shopping later today so I'm going to meal plan, tidy the kitchen and do my ironing pile as I'm looking after my niece who's 1 tomorrow so I need eyes everywhere.
