These are the exact words used, so you should quote them to your MP in a complaint and ask him/her to contact Sir Greg Knight MP if he wants further information about this scam.

as for being in the wrong two ...... yes two grace periods should be given .... start and finish ... so you where NEVER in the wrong .... the job of a PPC is to make you fell that you are wrong and pay up :eek:

Have you sent the email asking for the POPLA code to be re-sent, yet? Do that, and if it's out of date, just IGNORE NCP like everyone would do in yours shoes.

You will get SOME DEBT LETTERS. Will your OH cope with laughing at them? My husband took some persuading when I first got a threatogram paper trail re a fake PCN, years ago. We now laugh at them together!

Thanks for the support guys!! Ok I wont pay it. I have sent an email asking for my appeal rejection letter to be sent to my email address. If the Popla code has run out which it most likely has I shall ignore all correspondence!

I have read according to a post on facebook that the City Council brought this carpark in Sept 2017. Its still run as an NCP carpark though. Does anything change with them not owning it??

This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.

Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and another company have already been named and shamed, as has Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each year). They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct

Hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned.

The problem has become so rampant that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Watch the video of the Second Reading in the HofC recently.

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind they will be out of business by Christmas.
