Perks of a train commute :rotfl:
Well it's been a good couple of survey days on prolific and Qmee, so a £12 overpayment made this morning - half from prolific and half from Qmee. Still £4ish to be authorised in prolific, but felt like cashing out what I did have would help make the day more tolerable after being up with a sick toddler for a few hours
:coffee: some strong tea [STRIKE] life juice [/STRIKE] needed when I get into the office I think.0 -

I did thanks nichelette, just about. Was kept busy at work, then flopped on the sofa when I got home/put little Bach to bed and let DH make the tea :rotfl:0 -
How do you find qmee? I tried pbase for a bit, but got so frustrated with screening out after 5 mins!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

I really like it. You can get screened out fairly often, but equally I seem to have a good run of a few days. The surveys pay reasonably well and you can cash out any amount :money:0

£266 in overpayments made this month which I'm pleased about. This morning I managed to pull together £20 to finish the month off. £14 of it was surveys, an even split between prolific and Qmee, then topped it up with £6 from the current account... Because why not :rotfl:
That's £13 of interest saved in the long run :money::T
I was hoping for a little more, but took a more careful approach, adding to our savings instead. We also booked and paid the deposit on a holiday next summer, or it would be a long 23 years :rotfl:
An overpayment is definitely a good way to perk myself up after being up in the night with a teething toddler. As is coffee0 -
:money:Ooh. I also have a head start on next month's op's by £12. I put in 3 delay repay claims after the trains chaos of last week, two have been approved at £6.07, with one still to go, although I think it will be a lower amount. The alternative journey didn't cost me anything as train passes are accepted on the buses when disruption is that major :money: it took roughly forever though and doubled my journey time  fortunately I had suspected what would happen and kept an eye on the website and my boss let me leave early so I just got back in time for nursery!0

Well done on the op'ing. Hope the teething is soon done with0

Thanks teapot2, the two molars seem to have broken through so hopefully it's uphill from here, until the next set
A small OP of £12.50 today to finish the week/ begin August6.50 was from Qmee after a nice few days and £6 from a delay repay claim :money: I used to have to buy an alternative ticket from work city to town near home city and get a lift or taxi if the train was off. Now a bus service had been started from work city to home city that takes train passes when the trains are cancelled :money:  (although it's less convenient than the train so hopefully it won't happen too often :rotfl:
My overpayment today has saved me £8 in interest in the long run
Also, August's regular payment took me nicely into the £213ks :beer:
Cashed out from onepoll last week or the week before, so there should be a nice £25 winging it's way to the mortgage soon:money:
Happy Friday!:beer:0
