been an iPhone user for several years but want a change and think i am going to go for an S8 plus. I dont think the additional features of the S9 plus will tempt me in, S8 seems more than equipped.
wheres best to buy an S8 plus from please? Seen a couple of websites where they are between £450-£500 which seems very cheap
Am after SIM free as my sim only contract only costs me £12 a month now

Have seen several sites selling the S8+ for £449, which is why i was asking if they're reputable sites or not. I'd (hopefully) never pay more than £500 for a phone0 -
I'm typing here on a xioami Redmi 4X that cost £90 delivered

Fingerprint scanner
SIM free- No USB C,
 - a smaller/lower res (nearly half the ppi)screen @ 5"
 - no (official) Oreo
 - thicker & wider than the s8 despite is screen size
 - performance isnt even in the same country let alone ballpark
 - poorer camera in both photo/video
 - no NFC
 - 1 Gb more RAM
 - 32GB more basic storage on base model

im all for offering alternatives, but this is nowhere near an S8 even if you arent keen on Samsungs software.0 -

You aren't. You're paying for an extremely well specified phone. I'm sure you can have an excellent mobile for £400, but you will get more than that Samsung name for your extra £400. Feel free to find the same spec at £400 though...
No, a xioami Redmi 4X is NOT the same.0 -
The global version of the Xiaomi Mi 6X(possibly called the Mi A2) will probably be out soon, just a thought..0
