So you'd entrust the structural integrity of your house and the safety of your family to the 'best guesses' of random people on a forum, whose qualifications (if any), to give advice, are impossible to verify?

Don't want to argue lol, I thought by giving clues there be a definitive answer.

I appreciate everybody concerns about my safety here hence these replies. I like to thank everyone for their care and concern for me.

A cheap (free) idea. Ask your neighbours, see if any of them have had it done.
That!!!8217;s what I did when I was curious, first I asked neighbours. I discovered the only others who had taken that portion of wall away had needed rsjs so I knew it was load bearing.
Don!!!8217;t take it as definite it!!!8217;s not load bearing, but the chances are, if it is, your neighbours will be able to confirm.

Not a good idea either. The neighbour might have asked a random person on the internet, or have a house constructed differently to yours. Even if they look identical on the outside and were built the same, you have no idea whether changes were subsequently made.

Of course we care about you and are concerned. :)

We also don't want to be facing a manslaughter charge if you take advice from some random strangers on the internet, demolish the wall, and then have the rest of the house collapse on top of you.

Save money by knocking down something and leaving your house structurally unsound? That isn't saving money.

That was a really impressive job... it takes a special kind of skill to get that much of a house to fall down in one go.

Thanks. I like to think of it as my legacy to the people of Kings Norton.

More like a controlled demolition. Was it really uninsured?

If you read my reply properly you will see I suggested asking the neighbors to get confirmation is it, rather than is isn’t - there is a very important difference there.
